Not just carbon



Cannondale, through Mike Cotty, shows that there is more than carbon to play with by introducing a considerable update to their venerable CAAD road frames with it's 10th evolution.

The CAAD road bikes are exceptional values and their performance is good enough to put to shame many carbon bikes with price tags that would get you a couple of CAAD bikes... Or just one but with a whole wardrobe of bibs and jerseys if you are not riding in the area below.

Nice, but what is the difference except beafier steerer tube?

I don't have any details but yeah, the steerer, stiffer front end of the frame (bigger headtube, flared/formed downtube at the headtube juntion supporting right behind the lower bearing like the SuperSix). It's apparently more stable, more solid due to the stiffer front...
