Climb until you see dots

Watching Franco Pellizotti climbing the Tourmalet brought some wonderful memories and images. Now I miss riding up some french cols... Since then, Pelli has been ripping up the Tour de France climbs and earned himself a nice polka dot kit and matching custom SuperSix. Hopefully, he'll get to keep them until Paris, two years after Mauricio Soler did the same on his SystemSix.

If you like climbing in France, than you should at least once in your MTB-career visit the Roc Azur in Southern France, at the shores of the Côte d'Azur (www.rocazur.com). No Cols of +2000 meters, but a lot of nasty and steep hills of +- 400-500 meters. The Roc Marathon is one of the most beautifull MTB marathon's of France (82 km and 2200 denivilation). Very nice surroundings, almost all the time very nice weather and nice girls along the beach... :-)

I want to go back next summer and probably stay more than a week... Where do I sign up? :)

Cannondale may have to make the polka-dots a regular color scheme in the SuperSix lineup.
