Awareness test

Do the test. Not sure about the efficiency of the ad but hey, it's better than nothing.

Hi Dan,

The ad you reference is from the folks at "Transport for London" as part of the billion-or-so dollars the city is putting into cycling programs (or, as the Brits would have it, "programmes") in upcoming months. As ads go, there are just two problems with it:

1. As you correctly point out, it's not very effective. By the time it finally makes its rather labored (or "laboured") point, the viewer has already gotten the joke and lost interest.

2. The concept itself is a blatant ripoff a a piece developed previously by an American group (no tie-in to bikes) and is being denounced in the UK cycling trade. For more on the discussion, see http://www.bikebiz.com/news/29436/TfLs-viral-ad-is-a-rip-off.

Keep up the good work-- I really enjoy your stuff!
