Cannondale Head Wrench Tool

Sometimes, things just make sense, practicality, cleverness and just good ideas makes us all go: "Hummm, that's clever!" Here is an exemple. With a bigger headtube than most, a Lefty fork has a massive unused space right there in the steerer that clicked the right neurone in someone's brain at Cannondale.

After showing prototypes for the past year or so, the Lefty Headtube Tool is finally making it's way to bike shops. All the tools you need, conveniently located right in front of you so next time someone has to borrow your tool out on the trails (yes, some still don't carry tools on bike rides), you don't even have to reach for your Camelbak, you just pull it out of your headtube. Now that, like the Lefty, is just smart! It features 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm Hex wrenches, a T25 Torx wrench, a Phillips screwdriver, two tire levers, a chaintool, a spoke tool and 8 glueless tire patches.

And by the way, it makes a great gift for someone who rides a Cannondale with a Lefty (like me)!

Hi Dan, I agree, great tool! Can you tell me how I remove the 8 mm allen key? Apart from using a hammer I cant fgure it out! Kevin

Kevin, check the manual but it should come right out of the 6mm allen without a hammer...
